Queen’s Grant High School VIP will be hosting a Krispy Kreme fundraiser in order to raise money to assist with the education of our students at Queen’s Grant High School. Please see below the start date, end date and the date of pickup for the donut sale.

Start Date: January 9th 2012

End Date: January 27th 2012

Pickup Date: February 3rd 2012

Price: $5.00 dozen

We hope that we can get many of the students and parents to participate so we can continue to assist our teachers and students as much as needed.

Brax Cups/Bowls Update:
We would like to congratulate everyone who participated in the Brax Cups/Bowls fundraiser this year. Students and parents worked hard in participating in this event which made it a great success. First off we would like to congratulate Quinn Bryant for being the top seller selling 38 cups and popcorn bucket. For being the top seller he has won 32 cups of the NFL teams which can be picked up at the front office when the cups come in. Job well done!
We are a couple of weeks away from receiving the order and will keep you posted once they become available.

1st Annual Queen’s Grant Flea Market Update:
On another note: On October 22, Queens Grant High School held its 1st Annual Flea Market. The weather was cold but the community support was tremendous!
Thank you to the individuals and families, who visited us and viewed the beautiful crafts, strolled the booths and purchased items from our Kitchen.
We are grateful to our Committees, Parents, Vendors and the Community that helped with organizing and managing the many facets of the Flea Market, from soliciting vendors to advertising around town. Also, thank you to the vendors who supported Queens Grant and made the festival a huge success! Please take some time to view our pictures on the VIP website.
With all of the advertising and publicity we received from our event, the Community has become aware of who we are and what we are trying to do.
We have received great feedback from our community in regards to doing it again. We are in talks and we will keep everyone posted.
We enjoyed meeting a multitude of parents this year and hope that you will participate each year to build on the success of this special community-building events. Thank you again to the many parents, teachers, administrators and staff who supported the Flea Market!

Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad Volunteers Needed:
We are looking for 2 volunteers to help with Muffins with Mom and 2 to work with Donuts with Dad. If you are available for early morning functions please contact Pat Brown at nrvolunteerqueen@yahoo.com no later than Monday Nov. 7th for the Muffins with Mom and no later than Nov. 28th for Donuts with Dad.
